BOXING STARS GUERRERO AND LARA DONATE SHOES TO HALL OF FAME

CANASTOTA, NY - DECEMBER 30, 2015 - Two-division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (33-3-1, 18 KOs) and WBA / IBO super welterweight champion Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara (22-2-2, 13 KOs) have donated boxing shoes from their championship careers to the Hall of Fame. Mario Serrano, who is publicist for both prize fighters, delivered the shoes to Canastota on December 19th.

“We are so happy to have two talented boxing stars donate fight-worn items to the Hall for fans to enjoy,” said Hall director Edward Brophy. “We truly appreciate their generosity.”

Guerrero donated the shoes he wore in a 12-round win over Yoshihiro Kamegai on June 21, 2014 and Lara donated the shoes from his most recent victory, a 3rd round TKO over Jan Zaveck on November 25, 2015.
